PRIVACY NOTICE

How we handle your information.

We are a privacy law firm, and we hold our own site to the standard we advise for clients: collect little, explain plainly, and use no analytics or trackers.

LAST UPDATED · AUGUST 4, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Advisori (“Advisori,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with this website, advisori.com. It does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

Advisori is a US privacy law firm providing fractional privacy and AI counsel. For any question about this notice or your personal information, contact us at info@advisori.com. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Advisori is the controller of the personal information described here.

2. The information we collect

Information you give us

If you contact us — by email or through the contact form — we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, organization and role, your email address, and the contents of your message. Please do not send confidential or privileged details before we have completed a conflicts check and confirmed an engagement in writing.

Information collected automatically

By default the site uses no advertising or third-party tracking technologies. Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes limited technical data — such as IP address and basic request metadata — in server logs to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse.

If you opt in to analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate, de-identified site usage. We anonymize IP addresses and disable Google Signals and ad personalization; Google acts as our processor for this. Nothing loads and no analytics cookie is set unless you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time. See our Cookie Notice for the specifics.

Local storage

If you make a choice in our privacy banner, we store that preference in your browser’s local storage so we can honor it. This stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not used for tracking. See our Cookie Notice for detail.

3. How and why we use information

We use the information above only to:

  • respond to your inquiry and correspond with you;
  • run a conflicts check and evaluate a potential engagement;
  • provide legal services once an engagement is established;
  • secure, maintain, and improve the site; and
  • comply with our legal and professional obligations.

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating a secure site, on steps taken at your request prior to a possible engagement, on consent where you provide it, and on compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:

  • service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — our website hosting and content-delivery provider, our email provider for correspondence, and, only if you opt in, Google (Google Analytics); and
  • authorities or advisors where required by law, court order, or professional-responsibility rules, or to establish or defend legal claims.

5. International transfers

Advisori is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, to answer your inquiry, run a conflicts check, meet professional record-keeping obligations, or provide agreed services — and then delete or de-identify it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you may request to know, delete, or correct your information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — though we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email info@advisori.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including a static, minimal-attack-surface site and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive details before an engagement is in place.

9. Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where appropriate.
